Another excellent Travelodge, about 10 mins, if that, walk into town, Aldi and a Marstons chain pub ie set up for food are right alongside. I think my room was a new style one as floor space was smaller than usual but perfectly fine. Very comfortable bed, shower ( no bath) was good, surprisingly quiet, so a typical Travelodge room.

All good except very high price unless booked many weeks in advance. It's in the middle of nowhere but they take advantage due to being nor too far from Alton Towers.

Rooms are very clean and look like they have been recently refurbished. Friendly staff and only a 20 min drive away from Alton towers, no complaints :)

The new spec/design rooms are smaller but better in way, just a better quality finish. This particular hotel does not have a lift but it's only one set of stairs to navigate. The hotel is off some busy main roads but there is no to little road noise. It's very quiet and ideal as opposite is a pub and an aldi! It's also very affordable and the car parking is well lit.

Not a bad Travelodge, was clean inside just a little cramped for 4 of us in one room. Not a great deal around this area regards to restaurants or something for breakfast.

A really good hotel for the price paid. It's very clean and quiet which is all.i really care about in a hotel. There's nothing fancy in the room but didn't need anything for price I paid.

Positives: Decent location, friendly staff, clean room.
Negatives: Rock hard bed so a sore chest the day after from lying on it! Tiny shower for someone over 6ft+. Nothing next to bed to put anything on or charge your phone.

Good location, nice pub and Aldi next door. Rooms cleanish. Service, not much interaction, but pleasent. Lack of breakfast a disadvantage, but we knew that when booked, wouldn't stay longer than a night.

Rotten bathroom was dirty! Bath was disgusting there was loads spiders, fan in the room was broken they used glue to stick it back together! service was okay, spider eggs outside the window! Disappointed.

Always a reliable travelodge to stay in, you get what you pay for, close proximity to Alton towers (which is why I stayed in this hotel), easy to check in, comfy beds and included WiFi, heating and tv.

Stayed at this hotel as location is good for Ashbourne town centre.
Had my car on the electric charger next door ,made a cup of tea and came down with my bags but had a problem with the charger ,not hotels fault .
In my haste i left without grabbing my £65 stanley thermo mug which was brewing my tea in next to the kettle. So came back at 1pm and it was gone out of the room.
Spoke to the supervisor who was extremley rude and aggressive who rang the cleaner and the cleaner denied any knowledge of the mug being in the room.
BASICALLY THEY ARE THEIVES ,CLEANING STAFF IS A THIEF ITS THAT SIMPLE.
Spoke to customer servies who said the room had not been entered after i left ! So how was the room cleaned?
NEVER SHALL I EVER STAY IN ONE OF THESE THIEVING HOTELS AGAIN.
ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL.

Decent sized family rooms but the double rooms are very small. Nice and handy location. Appreciate having us ports beside the beds but the TV is a pointless size.

First time there stayed 2 days.. very nice will stay again. Very nice pub few hundred yards from door . And very convenient Aldi also few hundred yards.. very handy for essential groceries when on way back home..

I don’t recommend going here unless it’s a quick trip.
Staff were okay didn’t really acknowledge us. Barely saw them. They just left sign saying be back in bit but sat there for 20 mins waiting until I called the number. Which bit annoying if you’ve driven 5 hours.
Was in a room allocated for disabled even though none of us were. The floors in bathroom not really been cleaned and lots of daddy long legs flying about.
No WiFi have to pay for it otherwise 30 mins free which stupid for the amount we paid to stay there.
Also kept hearing the ring when people came in and out through out the night
And stomping from upstairs which again fine but for 130 quid was bit of a rip off.
Only positive was the bed was comfy
Pillows were good. Slept good.
All seemed clean on the bed side of things
Was 20 mins from Alton towers too.
Very disappointed though as paid alot to stay and no WiFi. Could’ve stayed somewhere else for that money and it have WiFi and bed tables etc.
Don’t come here unless staying one night but even they don’t recommend
